3.2 CEILING CONNECTOR
Use a joint strip art. no. 38012, 38025, 38026, corner strips
38035, 38015 or mitre when joining a ceiling connector.
If necessary, cut the ceiling connector down to the correct height
and fit it with strips and screws. If the ceiling is uneven, there is a
ceiling connector strip made of white plastic for sealing between the
ceiling and the ceiling connector, art. no. 38003.
Holes for air vents must be sawn into both the plinth and the ceiling connector where a fridge and freezer are built in (if there is no ventilation in
the top cabinet). Use air vent for recessing art. no. 33435 white plastic or air vent for recessing art. no. 39049 in stainless look and
art. no. 39049K in colour. Hole dimensions 473x73 mm.
When building a microwave into a half-height cabinet, a hole for the air vent must be sawn
into the counter top. Air vent for recessing art. no. 39049, stainless look, is recommended
for counter tops as the vent is completely flat. See the relevant white goods supplier’s
instructions for ventilation.
