Functional specifications
The MC3-TM controller simultaneously monitors temperature sensors. It alarms when one or more of the
measured temperatures drops below the configured minimum or exceeds the configured maximum
temperature.
These minimum and maximum temperatures are configurable for both temperature measurements and
can be placed within the measurement range.
Also a delay can be configured in order to wait an amount of time before raising an alarm. This delay can
be set per measurement and for both the minimum and maximum temperature limit.
The MC3-TM will be connected to a TCP/IP network and can be set to use a static IP address or to use a
DHCP server to obtain one.
Settings can be read out and altered using a software program which connects to the MC3-TM using the
Modbus TCP protocol. Using this program also measured values can be read.
The MC3-TM also provides a service interface using an embedded webserver to enable the user to view
and alter advanced settings.
