6.4.

Backup configuration

The “Backup configuration” screen gives the possibility to make a backup of the current settings

and software. This backup can be used to restore all settings to another MC3-TM in case of a

hardware failure. When backups are made, they will be show in this screen and they can be

downloaded to a PC. Saving a backup on another system than the MC3-TM is recommended to be

able to restore the backup in case of a hardware failure.

6.5.

Restore configuration

The “Restore configuration” screen provides the possibility to restore a backup which was

previously made. Backups which are stored on the MC3 can be selected or a backup file which was

stored on a local PC can be uploaded and used as well. Restoring backups should only be done in

consulting with VDH Products.
