Date/Time settings
The MC3-TM also builds up logfiles which can be retrieved by VASP (VDH Alfanet Server Program).
For building these logfiles it needs to store the correct date and time in the logfiles. The screen
“Date/Time settings” offers the possibility to change the internal date and time settings of the
MC3-TM. The options at the top of the screen show the settings for manually setting the date and
time. By pressing the button “Update values” the displayed date and time are refreshed, and by
pressing the button “Set time” the entered values are used in the MC3-TM for date and time.
When a timeserver is present in the network, it can be used to synchronize time. In order to use the
timeserver, enter its name or IP address in the fields and press “Test TimeServer”. The controller
will try to reach the timeserver and progress will be shown in the field below. When the controller
was able to reach the timeserver and request its time, it can be used by pressing the button “Set
TimeServer”.
When the controller should no longer use the configured timeserver, empty the field and press the
button “Set Timeserver”.
