Before the PROBA 5 Compact can be put into operation, the inputs and outputs of the PROBA 5 Compact must be
assigned.
The PROBA 5 Compact is extremely flexible to program. This means that the inputs and outputs are not located in
fixed positions. They can be shifted if required.
The configuration of the inputs and outputs takes place via the internal web pages of the controller.
In order to access the web pages, you should enter the IP address of the PROBA 5 Compact in the address bar of
a web browser, followed by /config. If the IP address is 192.168.250.1, then in the address bar of the browser you
enter: http://192.168.250.1/config.
After entering this, you are asked to log in. The standard login details are:
Username: user
Password: pass
The password can be changed on the web page. See “5.5.1 Proba 5 compact parameters” on page 41.
5.1 Controller config
5.1.1 PROBA 5 Compact config
With PROBA 5 Compact config. the zone-independent settings can be created. This applies to both the inputs and
outputs.
In the options menu, the inputs and outputs that are still free are displayed in a white field. Inputs and outputs
that have already been assigned are displayed in a blue field.
It is possible to assign more than one function to an input or output. The configuration overview shows in red
which functions have been assigned to a shared input or output.

Once the settings have been made on one web page, you need to click ‘Submit’ before moving to another page.
The settings made will be saved only after clicking ‘Submit’.
