Connecting ISDN Lines
As an option, the ISDN card provides connection to ISDN lines through three Basic
Rate Interfaces (BRI) or six B-channels. For more information on installing ISDN
lines at your facility, contact your local telephone service provider.

To connect the HD5000 system to one ISDN line
(1 BRI providing 128 Kbps connectivity)

Connect an ISDN cable to the ISDN 1 connector on the ISDN card and the
outlet to your ISDN line.

To connect the HD5000 system to two ISDN lines
(2 BRIs providing 256 Kbps connectivity)

Connect one ISDN cable to the ISDN 1 connector and the second ISDN
cable to the ISDN 2 connector on the ISDN card and the outlet to your
ISDN line.

To connect the HD5000 system to three ISDN lines
(3 BRIs providing 384 Kbps connectivity)

Connect one ISDN cable to the ISDN 1 connector, the second ISDN cable
to the ISDN 2 connector, and the third ISDN cable to the ISDN 3
connector on the ISDN card and the outlet to your ISDN line.
