7.3 Installation of the water discharge
An electrically operated ball valve is fitted to the left-hand side of the water tank in order to empty it. This
ball valve is opened by the control unit during the emptying process. The water then flows downwards
and out of the tank.
A hose can be connected to the connection (1) for specific water drainage. Please refer to section
"Technical data" for the connection dimensions.
Procedure
•
Remove the left-hand casing panel (2). Use an
open end spanner (size 13) to loosen the two bolts
(3) two turns.
•
Hold the lower edge of the casing panel (2) and
push it upwards while fully unscrewing the bolts
(3).
•
Allow the casing panel to slide down and then pull
it away from the machine housing.
•
Use a suitable hose clip (5) to attach the hose (4)
to the connection (1).
•
Route the hose away from the machine and en-
sure that the water can be discharged fully and
without problems from the water tank.
•
Re-attach the casing panel (2).
