3-16 Seats, restraints and interior
When triggered, the airbags inflate in
milliseconds. The risk of injury to the
upper body and pelvis in the event of
a side impact is thereby substantially
reduced.
Note
Only install seat covers to the front
seats that have been approved for
your vehicle with side airbags.
Curtain airbag system

The curtain airbag system is
identified by the words SRS AIRBAG
on the roof frame.
The curtain airbag system will be
triggered depending on the severity
of the accident and within the range
shown in the illustration.
The ignition must be switched on.
