Warning! Shadow’s glasdoor shall always be handled carefully! The glass door must not be loaded
heavily! Never hang in the door - either in open or closed position! Injury can occur!
19. For Shadow: The glass door is equipped with magnetic and mechanical child safety lock, which sits
hidden behind the glass door’s right side. The lock is opened and closed by moving the bar as shown in
Figure 14.
20. Lower the burner in the provided holder into the fireplace (Figure 15).
21. Place the regulator lid by lowering the two guide pins into the respective grooves (Figure 16). When
correctly placed, the regulator lid should lie closely against the burner’s surface and slide easily when the
regulator rod (which grips in the holes provided in the regulator lid) moves it to its respective stop. In
the open position, the regulator lid should be in front of the burner’s opening as seen from in front of the
fireplace (Figure 16).
Now that the fireplace is completely assembled, read Section 4 Firing for instructions on how to start it the
first time.
4 FIRING
Be careful to read through this section and make sure that all users of the fireplace understand the safety
prescriptions before it is put into use.
