Dismounting and installing the battery module

WARNING

Improper handling of battery module.

Personal and material damage.

Ensure that the battery module is switched off and that no LED display
is lit up.

Do not damage the battery module when dismounting and installing it.

Do not attempt a repair.

Battery modules are maintenance-free and must not be opened under
any circumstances.

Carry out the works described in this chapter with 2 persons or suitable
aids.

Do not lift the battery module by the handle.

Hold the battery module by the handle when installing it.

Attention

Improper dismount of the cables

Damage to the plug connections.

Press the block on the connector, then remove the plug carefully up-

wards.

If the battery module has not switched off automatically, then:

Switch off the battery module at the activation key (keep button pressed down until the LED goes
out).

Afterwards, separate the following line connections:

Connections for battery current

DRY contact

CAN

Loosen the four fastening screws (see page 55).
