MODE.

To finish configuring, highlight the thermostat station on the list of stations and touch the

Select

button on the thermostat. This will display the word CONFIGURE in the lower right side of

the thermostat LCD. Touch the

Right Tab

button under the word CONFIGURE and wait one or two

seconds for the station to configure. The station may also be configured by typing the serial number
in the project file; using this method the station will automatically be configured when the system is
programmed. Once configured the diagnostic LED on the Q ETS3 will blink evenly.

Configuration, STHERR101, RadioLink®

RadioLink stations need to be configured to associate which physical station goes with the station
in the project file. When the station is initially powered-up, the Status LED will blink three times
followed by a pause - this means the station is powered correctly but not yet on the network. Before
uploading the file to the Vantage system, do the following: In Design Center, highlight the
Thermostat Station. In the Object Editor, click on the Serial Number area and

type the Serial

Number in manually

. In QLink, from the menu bar select System | Configure Stations. A list of all

stations will be displayed on the screen. Highlight the correct station and

type the Serial Number

in manually

. Once the Vantage system is programmed and the stations have logged on to the

RadioLink Controller, the diagnostic LED will blink evenly.

Status LED Diagnostic Information for Q-ETS3 or STHERR101

During setup and configuration the Q-ETS3 or STHERR101 LED will blink at different intervals. The
STATUS LED blinks evenly or flashes 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 times followed by a pause to indicate status
information.

One Even blink:

The Q-ETS3 or STHERR101 is correctly configured.

Two blinks:

Q-ETS3 or STHERR101 is operating correctly but is not configured.
