Exporting Your Tests to a PC
Data files taken with the g -Analyst may be exported to your PC for use with programs
such as Microsoft Excel. The files are converted into a CSV (comma separated
variable) format by the ‘Eye4GotVB.exe’ program.
Follow these steps to export and convert your data:
1) HotSYNC your Palm with a PC. See your Palm documentation if you need
help with this.
2) Locate you test files by searching your PC for either Capture*.pdb or
Summary*.pdb. You may want to try the following path: C:\Program
Files\palmOne \{name of your Palm}\Backup
3) Make a note of where your files are located. You can copy them to
another directory if you choose. However, the files can only be deleted on
the Palm device.
4) Start the program Eye4GotVB.exe
5) In the far left window, select the directory where your test files are stored.
6) In the middle window, select the test that you want to convert – a sample
of the test data is shown in the far right window.
7) Select the ‘PDB to CSV’ button
8) Repeat as necessary to convert all of your files.
