Real-Time
The Real-Time function allows you to display vehicle
accelerations graphically on the Palm.
Begin by selecting ‘Real-Time’ from the g.Link menu (See
Figure 15).
The Real-Time screen will be displayed (See Figure 18).
There are three options available:
‘Zero Readings’ will zero the x/y/z axis so that all of the
readings will be referenced from the g-Analyst’s current
orientation.
‘Raw Readings’ will display readings without zeroing the
x/y/z axis.
‘Log Data’ allows yo u to log data to a file while viewing the data in Real-Time on the
screen.
Make your selections and then press the ‘Start’ button.
Three different graphical views are available:
Left/Right (Figure 19), Snake (Figure 20), and Gas/Brake (Figure 21).
You may adjust the scale in any view by tapping the arrows underneath the ‘Scale’ label
(See Figure 19, 20, or 21).
When you testing is completed, select the ‘Exit’ button.
