Other User Settings: Units/HotStart/Pitch Correction
From the 'Home' menu, select the Palm menu icon, the
‘Settings’, and then ‘Preferences.’ See Figure 6.
You may select either English or Metric for your units (See
Figure 22).
Note: HotStart and Pitch Correction are not enabled at this
time.
Other User Settings: g-Range
The g-Analyst is equipped with a selectable-range accelerometer. This allows the user
flexibility in selecting the range for any ve hicle.
From the 'Home' menu, select the Palm menu icon, the
‘Settings’, and then ‘g-Range.’ See Figure 6.
You may select any of the ranges in Figure 23.
Note: for maximum accuracy, you should select a range
that is closest to the capabilities of your vehicle. For most
passenger vehicles, the 1.5G range should be sufficient.
Note: changing the g-range will require that the g-Analyst
software be re-started.
