1a. Check indicator lights. Reset adjustments.
1b. Tighten loose connectors.
Repair broken connectors or shorted connectors
1c. Check fuses. Replace if necessary
2. No adhesive
output
2a. Adhesive not hot enough
2b. Pump not turning
2c. Cold glue hose or damaged hose
2d. Cold applicator
2e. Applicator clogged
2f. Clogged filter
2g Temperature control malfunction
2a. Check temperature setting is correct.
Ensure that reservoir heater has power
Check fuses
2b. Check for system ready condition.
Check for blown fuse
2c. Replace hose
2d. Check for blown fuse and/or defective heater
2e. Service applicator system
2f. Remove old filter and replace with new filter
2g. Replace temperature control
3. Charring or
gelling of
adhesive in
reservoir
3a. Reservoir temperature too high
3b. Surface oxidation of the adhesive
in the reservoir
3c. Poor adhesive heat stability
3d. Low reservoir level
3e. Temperature control malfunction
3a. Lower reservoir temperature in accord with
adhesive manufacturer’s specifications.
