to Settings > Modules , tap the appropriate General I/O module to select it and then
View module to access module configuration. Set the wanted inputs to control the
Recipe app, which has a number according to the appslot it is running on. Set the
purpose of inputs to implement a binary number with different multipliers for different
bits. Four digital inputs associated to a single Recipe app enable 2

different binary
number combinations that can address 16 different recipes. After choosing the settings
for inputs, tap Done to save changes and exit the setup.
5.3.5.4 Switching recipe via Modbus/TCP
In Modbus mode the recipe is switched by writing the recipe identification number to
a Modbus register. Each appslot has a specific Modbus register to switch recipe for
Recipe app running on that appslot. The register address is of the form 1 n 200, where
n is the appslot number. The register data type is a four-byte signed integer. The recipe
switching mode Modbus must be selected, see figure 5.23.
5.3.5.5 Switching recipe via Ethernet/IP
In Ethernet/IP mode the recipe is switched by writing the recipe identification number
to an Ethernet/IP object InputRecipeID , which is a four-byte integer. Ethernet/IP con-
nection parameters depend on what apps are running on MI. When Refractometer app
is on the first appslot, Recipe app is on the second appslot and all other appslots are
empty, the connection parameters are:
• Port: 0xAF12 (44818)
