5 Apps

Apps are small programs that give you different types of measurement data and func-

tionality. Vaisala is constantly developing new apps for the measurement, but some

are installed by default.

5.1 Shared functionality

While different applications work differently, there are some functions that are similar

to all applications.

5.1.1 Application trend

An MI app can display graphically one or two of its variables over selectable time period.

To access an app trend, tap application window on the main view and tap

the trend by tapping

Save

. Saved trend can be accessed via http connection. Use the

IP address found in the MI

Settings > Network

menu, under

Ethernet

section. On the

MI web page select

files > trend > yearMonthDate-time_appType_slotNumber.csv

Note:

Only apps running on the first four app slots can display the graphical trend. MI

supports four apps on one main view screen and there are two main view screens that

can be switched, see figure 4.1.
