3.16.5 Electric adjustment of the sown amount (Option)

The sown amount can be increased or decreased in steps of 10% from the default value.
Setting the default value:
Set the handle A to the position B. Set the default value using the switch C. The scale value is
shown in the right part of the display, D.
Using an increased or decreased sown amount:
Set the handle A to the desired percentage (in steps of 10%, e.g., position 2 for 20 %).
Increase in sown amount:
Flick the switch C briefly upwards to increase the sown amount: the scale value then increases to
the next ten digit percentage value. The E1 indicator first blinks and then lights when the increased
amount is reached.
To return to the default value, flick the switch C briefly downwards: the scale value is then de-
creased. Both E indicators first blink and then go out when the default value is reached.
Reduction in sown amount:
(to use this function, the drive wheel must be turning)
Flick the switch C briefly downwards to reduce the sown amount: the scale value then decreases
to the next ten digit percentage value. The E2 indicator first blinks and then lights when the de-
creased amount is reached. To return to the default value, flick the switch C briefly upwards.
Example:
The default is set to 100 according to the above explanations.
Set the handle A to 2 (=20 %).
Using switch C, it is now possible to adjust the scale value between 80
↔
100
↔
120.
When the system is set to an increased or decreased sown amount (E1 or E2 lights), it is also pos-
sible to change the scale value in steps of 10% using the handle A.
The current scale value can be verified at any time by pressing the button F.
Among the accessories, there is also a remote control that can be placed on the drill. This is used
e.g., to increase or decrease the sown amount when calibrating the seed rate.
The scale value cannot be reduced if the feed roller is not moving. Consequently, if the scale in-
dication must be changed when the machine is not moving, turn the drive wheel by hand.
