Error handling

4.4.1

Positioner vibrates

The positioner vibrates (oscillates) in control modes

Press the

button. Is the current value stable?

Check power source or PLS.

Yes

Switch the positioner to operating mode

(manual) and set it

to a position of approx. 50 % us ing the local push buttons. Is
the position stable?

Check the piping and actuator for leak age. If leakage is detected, send the
positioner for repair.

Start Autostroke and save the va lues. Switch the positioner to
operating mode
