8 Care and maintenance
For heavier deposits:
▸ Rinse the door filter 2 under running wa-
ter.
▸ Clean with an abrasive liquid cleaning
agent (immerse if necessary) and a
sponge; use cleaning vinegar with hard
water.
▸ Rinse off under running water and allow
to drip dry. 2
Cleaning the door filter mat
▸ Remove the fluff while dry (see page
23).
▸ Rinse the door filter mat 3 under running
water and then wring out.

▸ Wash the door filter mat 3 on a 40 °C
wash programme to clean off heavier de-
posits.

Inserting the door filter / door filter mat
Do not operate the appliance without the door filter mat!
▸ Put the door filter mat 3 into the door fil-
ter 2 . Ensure it is positioned correctly.
▸ Insert the door filter 2 and engage in po-
sition.
▸ Close the filter cover 1 .

The door filter mat does not have to be dry before being inserted in the door filter.
