Uneven browning

Energy economy
The

operating modes consume comparatively less energy than
the

modes.

Avoid opening the appliance door frequently.

Only switch the illumination on if needed.

Use the residual heat: for longer cooking times, i.e. over 30 minutes, switch
the appliance off some 5 to 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
Exceptions: soufflé, sponge, choux pastry and puff pastry.

Minimise preheating.

Only preheat the cooking space if the baking results depend on it.

Some uneven browning is normal. More even browning is generally
achieved at lower cooking space temperatures.
To reduce power consumption to an absolute minimum, select
«Time display invisible». Despite automatic energy-saving stand-by, all
safety functions are active. All displays go out when the cooking
process has been completed.
