Delayed start
The delayed start function helps you if you want to have a dish ready for a certain time
but you cannot switch the appliance on or off yourself at just the right time. Set the
operating time as well as the switch-off time. The appliance will switch on – with a
delay – and off again automatically.
If you use the food probe, you will need to estimate the cooking time. You will find a
guide on cooking times in the 'Tips on settings' section. The appliance will automati-
cally switch on with a delay and off again when the set food probe temperature is
reached. Note that, depending on the estimated cooking time, this could occur some-
what earlier or later than the set switch-off time.
Setting
A
Place the food in the cooking space and select the operating mode and the cook-
ing space temperature.

Press the button.
– The symbol flashes.
– The symbol and operating mode selected illuminate.
– flashes in the right-hand display (10 minutes are pre-programmed).

Turn the adjusting knob to set the desired operating time.

Press the button again.
– The symbol flashes.
– The current time and the set operating time flash in the right-hand display.

Turn the adjusting knob to set the desired switch-off time and thus to start the
delayed start.
Perishables should not be kept unrefrigerated too long.
The switch-off time can be extended by 23 hours and 59 minutes at the most.
