IV Diving at Reduced Risk with Aladin

Pro Nitrox

1.2 Minimizing risk on repetitive dives

With consecutive r epetitive dives, ther

e will be excess nitr ogen in the body due to the accumulation of nitr

ogen

on the pr eceding dive. Depending on the length of the sur

face inter val, ther e could even be gaseous nitr

ogen

(micr obubbles) in your body

. This accumulation of both soluble as well as potentially gaseous nitr

ogen in the

body can gr eatly incr ease the risk of decompr

ession sickness on subsequent dives. That risk can be minimized.
