applications,  such  as  solenoid  activated  valves,  an 

external power supply can be used.  The R1425 monitors 

its own internal circuits, and the status of external input 

devices.  The R1425 also monitors detonators that are 

connected  to  it  for  opens,  shorts  to  ground,  and  low 

voltage  conditions.    System  status  is  shown  on  front 

panel indicators.  See Figure 4.

w2400 gROUND FaULT mONITOR mODULE

The W2400 Ground Fault Monitor is a dedicated module 

in the Flame Detection/Releasing System that protects 

the integrity of the system power wiring by monitoring 

for ground faults.  Detection of a ground fault condition 

is  indicated  by  actuation  of  a  solid  state  output  and 

illumination of LEDs on the faceplate of the module.
