TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Gate began to operate
increasingly slower and does
not operate at all now.

a.

Battery has one or more dead cells.

b.

If AC charged, circuit breaker has tripped or
power to charger is interrupted.

c.

Battery charging system (AC charger or
solar panel) is not functioning.

Replace battery.

Check circuit breaker. Check for power at
charger receptacle.

Consult factory for testing instructions. (Test
meter

required).

On a dual gate, only one unit
will open and close.

a.

Blown fuse

b.

Defective actuator.

c. Defective

cable.

d.

Defective control board.

e. Master/Slave jumper not properly

installed or is missing.

Note:

Reverse actuator plugs on board

and actuator locations to

determine exact cause of problem.

Replace with 15-amp max.

Repair or replace actuator.

Repair or replace cable.

Repair or replace control board.

Install jumper (see page 16)

Emergency Manual Release

or

Remove the manual release pin at the gate bracket and open the gate by hand. Secure the
gate before attempting to pass through.
