DISASSEMBLY

1. Disconnect and lock out power source.

Shut off air supply.

2. Disconnect drain tube from coalescing

filter bowl and unscrew bowl from filter
body, see Figure 29, page 40. Unscrew fil-
ter element and discard. Element cannot be
cleaned. Remove “O” rings.

3. Unscrew bowl from filter/regulator body

and remove automatic drain from bowl. Un-
screw baffle and remove filter element. Re-
move “O” rings.

4. Remove oil mist lubricator reservoir. Re-

move bracket holding reservoir. Remove six
fasteners in top of lubricator and remove
reservoir and reservoir gasket (Figure 30).
It may be necessary to remove clamp hold-
ing air inlet valve and swing lubricator out to
reach back fastener.

5. Unscrew sight dome and remove gas-

ket. Remove oil feed and air by-pass
screws.

6. Unscrew oil feed assembly and push

venturi and gasket out from the sight dome
opening. Unscrew siphon tube and remove
gasket and check ball.

The coalescing filter and filter/regulator units

are equipped with threaded port inserts. If en-
tire filter unit must be removed, drive pins out
and remove insert and “O” ring. Threaded nip-
ple need not be removed from insert.
