INFORMATION FOR USERS
The symbol
on the equipment indicates that waste must be “collected separately”.
Therefore, the user must send the waste (or have it sent) to authorized differentiated waste collection centres
established by the local authorities or deliver it to the retailer in exchange for purchase of an equivalent type
of new appliance.
Differentiated waste collection and subsequent treatment, recovery and disposal promote the production of
equipment using recycled materials and restrict negative impacts on the environment and also on health
caused by improper management of waste.
Illegal disposal of the product by the user will result in application of the administrative sanctions set forth in
article 50 et seq. of Decree Law No. 22/1997.
Within the meaning of art. 13, Decree Law No. 151 of July 25 2005, “Enactment of Directives 2002/95/EC,
2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC relating to the reduction of use of hazardous substances in electric and
electronic equipment and also disposal of waste”
