Description

WARNING:

This  manual  is  intended  to  give  Important  Information  that  must  be  followed  during

Storage,  Transportation,  Installation,  Operation  and  Maintenance  of  the  Pump-Set.  We  therefore
recommend that this manual is read carefully before the Pump-Set is put into operation. To prevent
damage  being  caused  by  inappropriate  or  incorrect  use,  or  by  being  used  outside  the  normal
operating parameters of the Pump-set, the Instructions in this manual must be followed. Failure to
do so may lead to damage to or premature failure of the Pump-set and may cause Injury. Any such
actions will invalidate the warranty

The Betsy 125M is a versatile wastewater pump, which is equipped with a vacuum system and a vacuum pump for
automatic  and  extremely  fast  priming.  Priming  beforehand  to  ensure  proper  suction  is  therefore  unnecessary.
Powerful suction action up to a suction head of 8 to 9 meters, or a suction length of 70 to 100 meters. All pumps
are supplied in a sound-attenuated version.
These pumps are ideal for moving sewage water and dirty liquids containing large solids. These sets are equipped
with  a  screw  centrifugal  pump.  Thanks  to  the  unique  non-clogging  impeller  with  an  extremely  large  opening  for
solids,  these  pump  sets  can  handle  liquids  that  exceed  the  capabilities  of  other  pumps.  Their  low  energy
consumption and the resulting saving in fuel costs also set them apart from other brands.

The pump set was designed for a temperature range of -

5° C to +30

C and under these conditions the diesel engine

should be filled with 15W40 diesel engine oil.
For operation at temperatures below -

15° C, the oil in the Vacuum Pump should be changed to an oil with a different

viscosity  (SAE)  to  prevent  oil  flaking.  The  oil  in  the  diesel  engine  should  also  be  changed  and  the  engine
manufacturers operating and maintenance manual should be consulted for details. At a temperature below -

10°C

winter fuel should also be used, again refer to the engine manufacturers operating and
maintenance manual for details.
