should never come into

happens, all parts must be
completely dry before opera-

surfaces, a metal tray or a
wet surface. Do not place

only as a table grill. The

free-standing grill only in a
protected area out of doors.

on a level, uncluttered sur-
face.
16. If you use the appliance as a
tabletop grill, make sure that
the power cord does not hang
over the edge of the counter-
top or table, since this can
cause accidents, for example
if small children pull on the
cord.
17. The power cord should never
run underneath the appli-
ance or come into contact
with hot parts of the appli-
ance, since this could cause
it to become damaged.
18. If you use an extension cord,
make sure that it is intact
and suitable for the power
draw of the appliance; other-
wise, there is a possibility of
overheating.
