Use a cross type cable if the cable is connected to a DTE (data terminal device, PC and so on) and a
straight  type  cable  if  connected  to  a  DCE  (data  circuit  terminator,  modem  and  so  on).  Below  are
examples of using cross cables.

Compatible connector: 9-pin D-SUB connector 
(DE-09SN manufactured by JAE, XM2D-0901 manufactured by OMRON and so on)
