7.5 Loading Stock with the Optional Dust Cover
1. Locate the finger lift point. Swing open the dust
cover door to gain access to the input path area.
2. Grip the stock firmly with the thermal printing
surface facing up.

rear of the dust cover module. There are two
dust brushes intended to clear large particles
from the stock before it reaches the print head.
Pull the stock over the support bracket towards
the stock guides.
With the thermal printing surface up, insert the
stock between the right and left guide until
detected by the Top Of Form sensor (TOF) and
the print motor starts advancing.
The stock will automatically be pulled in by the
platen and detected by the Present Sensor (PS).
The stock is now loaded and ready for printing.
