Installation
Windows:
1. Run KCenterSetup.exe , and then click Next to start the procedure of installation.
2. Specify a direction of installation, click Next and then Install.
3. The icon of KCenter will be located on the desktop once the installation has been
completed.
Linux:
1. Uncompress the file of kcenter_linux.zip . A folder which contains kcenter.jar will be
created. Note that KCenter can only run with the root privileges.
2. Give execution rights to install.sh and run install.sh .
3. Then in a terminal change the directory to kcenter folder.
If you are root, type: # java –jar kcenter.jar .
Otherwise type: $ sudo java –jar kcenter.jar .
Mac OS X:
1. Click the kcenter_mac.zip to create the installKceter.pkg.
2. Run the program and follow the instructions to install.
3. Click the
kcenter.jar application of the desktop if you are root. If you are not in a root
session, open a console into /Applications/Kcenter folder and type: $ sudo java –jar
kcenter.jar .
Operation
Password checking
Open the application of KCenter, and then click OK after entering the password. By default,
the password is password.
Note: It’s strongly suggested to change the password after the first time opening. To change the
password, click
File
and then
Set Main Password
.
