For example, the new KLEv2 Web Browser Management Interface will be
https://<IP_address>:<TCP Port Base + 8>
In my case, my IP Address is 192.168.1.192 and the TCP Port Base is 5920. To access my
KLEv2 Web Browser Management Interface, it is https://192.168.1.192:5928
Configuring TCP Port Base for the KLEv2
■ There are two main methods of accessing the KLEv2 to have virtual presence of using
your computing resources.
(1) Separate independent program viewer. This can be downloaded from the KLEv2 Web
Management Interface --> Download --> Viewers . You have a choice of Windows
viewer or OS independent Java viewer.
(2) Java Applet viewer which uses your browser to access.
* The system that you are viewing the distant computing resource must have the latest Java. The viewer will check and initiate
update if needed.
* When login into the KLEv2 Web Management Interface, your browser may provide a website security certificate warning. Press
"Continue to this website (not recommended)" until the web certificate is properly install onto the KLEv2
* Network Administrator is responsible for safety of local network environment. Make sure you pass information on the KLEv2 to the
Network Administrator so that can make adjustment to the firewall, network configuration, and router for the KLEv2 to function
properly.
