Use of the Card

Set the frequency of the QAM digital channel.
In order to activate the QAM card, press the DIGI button.

If the OFDM card is installed as well, a menu will appear prompting the user to choose
between the two systems: in this case, turn the Shaft Encoder to select the QAM option and

then press

ENTER

The “

SYMBOL RATE

”,

“MODULATION”

and

“SPECTRUM”

parameters are set

automatically.

Press the

button to enable the MPEG4/MPEG2 decoder for viewing free-to-air digital

programs. Refer to the relative section for this case as well.

In order to activate the PULSE RESPONSE (AER) function, press

MENU

and select the

corresponding box. Press

ENTER

to confirm the selection.

Press

SPECT

to exit the QAM function.
