1. Set the L.L. switch to ON when using the camera to

line-lock mode. If L.L. is switched to OFF, the camera
will operate in an internal mode.

2. when using the camera under line-lock mode, it is

possible to adjust the line-lock phase using the
PHASE control located on the rear panel of the
camera. Adjustment range is from 0 to 300

AWC mode can also be selected by switching ATW to
OFF position. AWC mode is suitable where a lot of white
objects appear in the scene, and is also ideal for
situations where the object merges into the scene with a
similar color shade.

Strong light, such as a spotlight, entering the scene
background causes the lens iris to close, thereby
possibly obscuring desired portions of the scens.
Backlight compensation function automatically adjusts
the video level to preserve visibility in important section
of the scene.

LINE - LOCK

NOTE :  In the line-lock setting, the camer’s vertical
synchronization can be driven by the 60Hz signal in the
power lines.

In the line-lock mode, synchronization may not be
corrected for a few seconds after the power is turned on;
this is not a malfunction.
If horizontal lines rolling upward or downward are
observed on the screen, reverse the polarity of the power
cable connected to the power input connector.
When AC power line frequency is 50Hz, the line-lock
sync operation is not possible.

BACKLIGHT COMPENSATION

AWC (Preset
White Balance)

NOTE :  When shooting with non-standard lighting or a
large part of the screen is occupied by a single color or a
completely red or blue background, the ATW mode may
not function properly. In such case, set ATW to OFF
(AWC mode).

NOTE :  To avoid failure of AWC mode setting, do not
move the camera or the object for a few seconds after
switching ATW to OFF. If accurate color reproduction on
the monitor does not appear after setting the AWC mode,
switch ATW to ON, and then to OFF after a few seconds.
