Disconnecting
Stop charging using the battery
clamps:
Disconnect the device from the
mains current.
Disconnect the “–” pole
quick-contact connection terminal
(black)

Disconnect the “+”-pole quick

Standby / Measuring
battery voltage
After connecting the mains supply,
the device is in standby mode. The
display is in use. When the connec-
tion terminals are connected, the
battery voltage is displayed on the
LC display (voltage display

). The
segments of the status display

are
empty. If the measured voltage is
below 2 V, then this means the
battery is not charging.

Battery recognition
If a battery with a voltage over 2 V
is connected, the charging process
will start once the charging program
is selected. Deeply discharged bat-
teries can also be charged, as long
as they are not defective.
If a battery with a voltage of over
15.6 V is connected, in 12 V mode,
“Err” will be shown in the voltage
display

. The charging process in
24 V mode.
If the charger is connected to a
battery with the poles reversed,
“POL” will be shown on the display.
The charging process will not be
activated.
