5.  Push top of bag collar upward until collar snaps into 

place. (See Figure 13) 

6.  Tuck bag corners into bag compartment and zip 

bag compartment closed. 

REMOVING AND REINSTALLING BATTERY

IMPORTANT! Turn off vacuum. If battery charger 
is plugged into the charge point on the vacuum, 
remove charger from charge point before 
removing battery. Battery can be removed  
and charged independently from vacuum. 

1.  To remove battery, push up on the release button 

and lift off battery. (See Figure 14)

2.  To replace battery, align bottom of battery with 

posts at base of coupling. Push battery in until it 

clicks into place. (See Figure 15) 

REMOVING BOTTOM PLATE

CAUTION! To reduce the risk of electrical shock 
or injury from moving parts, turn the vacuum 
off and remove the battery before servicing or 
cleaning the vacuum.

1.  Ensure vacuum is turned off and remove battery.

2.  Press handle release pedal to place vacuum in  

the flat position.

3.  Turn the vacuum over, exposing the bottom plate.

4.  Turn two screws a quarter turn counterclockwise to 

release the bottom plate and remove. (See Figure 16)

REINSTALLING BOTTOM PLATE 

1.  Align front edge of the bottom plate into notches 

inside the nozzle. (See Figure 17)

2.  Press bottom plate into position until the plate clicks 

on both sides. Tighten the two screws a quarter turn 

to secure the bottom plate.

3.  Replace the battery.
