MONITORING
AND
THE
AWAY
MODE
If
optional
PIR
movement
detectors
are
installed
the
control
centre
will
know
the
resident
is
“up
and
about”
each
day.
If
the
resident
is
going
to
be
away
from
home
for
more
than
one
day
they
must
select
“Away
Mode”
to
prevent
in
‐
activity
calls
being
sent
to
the
control
centre.

unit

Mode
and
their
activity
monitoring

turned
off.

the
resident
returns
home

remember

activity
monitoring

STEADY

The
unit
is
now
back
in
Normal
Mode

their
activity
monitoring

working
again.
