ProPass 180 Top Dresser Operator’s Manual  

Twin Spinner Spread Pattern 
Troubleshooting Guide

Replace all worn spinner disks or paddles.

Test the spread pattern. 

If you are having problems with the ProPass spread 
pattern:

Use the following troubleshooting guide to make 
small adjustments and refine the spread pattern.

Adjust the ProPass and the Twin Spinner attachment 
to the factory recommended settings  (See Page 26)

If you are still having problems with the spread 
pattern, contact an authorized TYCROP distributor. 

 

Spread Pattern

Next Step 

Heavy in the middle 

Slowing the Twin Spinner speed may help 
throw the spread pattern more to the 
outside. 

Loosen the adjustment handle and slide the 
base of the twin spinner towards the 
ProPass 3 to 6.5 mm (1/8 to 1/4 inch).  Test 
the spread pattern.   

Keep repeating this step until the spread pattern 
is acceptable.  

If the spread pattern is still not acceptable, 
contact an authorized TYCROP distributor for 
additional adjustment procedures.  

Heavy to the outside 

Loosen the adjustment handle and slide the 
base of the twin spinner away from the 
ProPass 3 to 6.5 mm (1/8 to 1/4 inch). Test 
the spread pattern. 

Keep repeating this step until the spread pattern 
is acceptable.  

If the spread pattern is still not acceptable, 
contact an authorized TYCROP distributor for 
additional adjustment procedures.
