13.2 PROGRAMMING OPTION CABLE
Related to the Full-Data I/O Option Cable is the Programming Option Cable 1000022242-0002, also
shown in Figure 13-1. This option cable presents only the DB-9 serial interface necessary to program,
control, or establish a data connection with the radio. It adapts to a standard 9-pin serial computer cable,
or alternatively it plugs directly into the computer’s or mobile data terminal’s serial connector. Table 13-2
shows the wiring of the Programming Option Cable.
