Chapter 4: SATA/RAID Setup (for SATA RAID model)

Follow these steps:
1. Press the Spacebar to choose
Security
in the Optimize Array field.
2. Press Ctrl-Y to Save your selection. The window below will appear.
3. Press Y for the Create and Duplicate option. The window below will appear asking you to
select the Source drive to use. FastBuild will copy all data from the Source drive to the
Target drive.
4. Press the arrow keys to highlight the drive with the existing data to be copied. This is the
Source drive.
Warning
All data on the Target drive data will be erased. Make sure you choose
the correct Source drive.
5. Press Ctrl-Y to Save selection and start duplication. The following confirmation screen will
appear.
6. Select Y to continue. If you choose N, you will return to the Main Menu.
Once you select Y, the following progress screen will appear. The process will take a few
minutes.
When the array is created, the screen will return to the Main Menu.
7. Press Esc to exit the FastBuild Utility.
8. Partition and format the array, using your operating system, as if it were a new single disk
drive.

Step 4: Install Software Drivers
to install your operating system and/or FastTrak
driver.
