Set main Power Switch to ON.
Reset Circuit Breaker. If it trips again,
make the checks listed in Item 1,
Section 5.02.
Check main Power Switch according
to Section 5.08. Replace if it is faulty.
Measure the power supply voltage on
the Motor Control PCB1 according
to Section 5.10. Replace PCB 1 if it is
faulty.
Measure voltage on Display PCB2
between P1-1 and P1-2, if +15V is
present, replace PCB2.

feed and all front
panel displays are
OFF or flickering

The AC supply from the power source for
the wirefeeder is low.
A
Check supply voltage. Turn on the
main power switch,measure the
voltage between AC1 and COM; also
AC2 and COM, if both are below
36VAC, please check the power supply
voltage of the welding machine.

ERR 01 Ground Fault. Current is flowing
in the interconnection earth wire. This
may be a fault from 110VAC to frame, or
from weld output to frame.
ERR 03 Motor Current > 10A, this may
be caused by wire birds-nesting.
ERR 04 Motor Current > 5A for 10
seconds.
ERR 05 Missing Tacho signal.
ERR 06 Weld Current >650A.
ERR 07 arc established signal not
present.
ERR 08 Motor Control PCB1 error.
ERR 09 Display PCB2 error.
ERR 20 DIP switch setting.

Find cause of earth fault current &
rectify.
1) Check whether correct contact tip
size is used.
2) Check whether the wire sticks to
the contact tip.
3) Check whether there is wire birds-
nesting.
Make the same checks as Item B.
Check tacho wiring.
1) Measure the voltage between P2-1
and P2-4 on Motor Control PCB1, if
+5.0V is not present, replace PCB1.
2) Check the wire continuity between
P2 and the motor. If it shows
continuity, replace the motor.
Reduce welding Current.
Refer to Subsection 4.19 and set
Internal DIP Switch.
Cycle wirefeeder power to check if
fault clears. If not, replace Motor
Control PCB1.
Cycle wirefeeder power to check if
fault clears. If not, replace Display
PCB2.
Check S5, S4, S3 switch settings on
Display PCB2 & correct.
