Check damaged parts: 

Check product to see if any parts are damaged. Damaged parts should be properly 
repaired  or  replaced  by  an  authorized  service  center  unless  otherwise  indicated 
else where in this instruction manual.

SAFETY NOTE: Please ensure the machine is held with both hands and is at a safe 
distance from the body before operation. 
 

Setting The Cutting Line 
 

NOTE: Be sure to remove the battery from the machine before you adjust the cutting 
line. 
 
LINE FEEDING PROCEDURE 

In  order  to  feed  a  length  of  cutting  line,  strike the bump  cap  on  the  lawn  while  the  machine  is 
running. This will automatically feed a new length of line and trim it to the correct length. A firm 
but  gentle  motion  should  be  used  to  strike  the  bump  cap.  The  unit  should  be  angled  slightly 
forward to prevent the guard from contacting the ground. This process may be repeated as often 
as necessary. If unit fails to feed, unplug extension cord at machine and clean out the bump cap. 
See Fig. 9. 
 

OPERATING THE WEED EATER 

NOTE: This machine is designed only to cut grass and weeds. 
 

1.  Remove the blade protector.

 

See Fig. 9. 

2.  Insert the Battery Pack P into the machine. See Fig. 10. 

 

 
3.  Check the height of the machine is suitable for you. Adjust using the Adjustment Knob H if 

necessary. See Fig. 11. 

4.  To switch on your machine press the Safety Button E and then press the On/Off Trigger C.
