Note:
You are able to see the zoom effect in viewfinder only when using
optical zoom!
6.3 Flash setting
1. Set the camera in either capture or macro mode.
2. Shift the 5-way OK button (4, Fig. 2) to the left to select the desired flash
setting. There are four types of flash settings, as shown in table below
and you can find the icon on left-top corner of LCD display:
Flash off – never flash.
Automatic flash + Red-Eye reduction.
The flash will work automatically when there is insufficient
light and red-eye reduction will also be activated
automatically.
Flash always on.
Night (Slow) – the camera extends the mechanical shutter
action, and allow flash delay.

6.4 Taking video clip
First, turn the mode dial to (
). In this mode, you can use your camera as a
camcorder, or set self-timer for self-recording purpose.
Note:
The length of the movie is based on the capacity of your SD card and
the internal memory.
Note:
You can still zoom in and out while searching for a subject, but when
the actual recording starts, zooming in and out is not possible any
more.
To record a movie clip, follow steps bellow:
1.
Make sure the mode dial is at Video Mode (
).
2.
Point the camera to where you would like to record the movie.
3.
Press the shutter button to start the recording.
4.
Press the shutter button again to stop the recording.
To set self-timer for automatic self-recording, follow steps below:
1.
Make sure the mode dial is at Video Mode (
).
2.
Point the camera to where you would like to record the movie.
3.
Shift OK button right once so the self-timer is activated.
4.
Press the shutter button to start the recording and the 10 seconds
count down will be displayed in the center of the LCD screen. After 10
seconds, the actual self-recording will start.
5.
Press the shutter button again to stop the recording.
