Start Up
• Un-plug the Rotary-tool.
1.
Remove the shaft cover (

).
2.
Insert a collet (

) of the desired gauge for the flexible
extension end into the Rotary-tool axis (

).
3.
Depress the shaft lock (

) while threading but not
tightening the collet nut (
E
).
4.
Insert the flexible extension end into the collet, hold the
collet nut and threading the shaft cover secure the flex
extension into the Rotary-tool.
5.
Fit the accessory in the tip of the extension as you do
with the other accessories in the Rotary-tool. (See page 7
“Installing accessories”). To block the shaft while installing
accessories in the flexible extension tip, slide the blocking
holder backwards. To release the shaft let the blocking
holder go to set it into its original position.
