Automatic switch-off
ü
The device is switched on.
1. Press the
Timer
button (19) to activate the timer.
ð
The
Timer
LED (10) flashes for approx. 5 s.
2. Repeatedly press the
Increase value
(18) or
Decrease value
button (17) to select the desired number of hours until
automatic switch-on.
ð
The segment display (11) indicates the number of hours
until automatic switch-off.
3. Wait for 5 seconds to confirm the setting.
ð
The
Timer
LED (10) is illuminated. Then the segment
display (11) indicates the current room temperature.
ð
After the predefined time, the device switches itself off.
4. In order to delete the setting, select
00
hours using the
Increase value
(18) or
Decrease value
(17) buttons.
ð
The
Timer
LED (10) goes out.
Night mode
The night mode can be activated when in
cooling mode
.
Night mode comes with the following settings:
•
After 1 hour the preset temperature is increased by 1 °C.
After 2 hours the preset temperature will again be
increased by 1 °C. Then the temperature is kept constant
for 6 hours.
Subsequently, the device will be switched off. The device
is in standby mode and can be switched back on via
control panel or remote control.
To switch on night mode, please proceed as follows:
1. Select
cooling
mode.
2. Press the
Sleeping
button (20).

The
Sleeping
LED (10) is illuminated.
ð
The
Speed
LED (10) is illuminated.
3. In order to switch off night mode, press the
Sleeping
button (20) once again.
ð
The
Sleeping
LED (10) goes out.
ð
The fan speed returns to its previous setting.
Changing the unit °C / °F
The temperature in the segment display (11) can be indicated in
°C or °F.
Please proceed as follows to change the temperature unit:
1. Simultaneously press and hold the
Increase value
(18) and
Decrease value
(17) buttons for 3 s.
ð
The displayed temperature is converted to the other unit.
Remote control
All settings of the device can also be made using the remote
control included in the scope of delivery.

Automatic defrost
At low ambient temperatures, ice may form at the evaporator.
The device will then carry out an automatic defrost.
The compressor switches off and the fan keeps running until
defrosting is completed. The duration of the defrost process can
vary.
Do not switch the device off during automatic defrost. Do not
remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Shutdown
Warning of electrical voltage
Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands.
•
Switch off the device.
•
Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the power cable out
of the mains socket.
•
Empty the condensation tank, if need be.
•
Clean the device according to the Maintenance chapter.
•
Store the device according to the Storage chapter.
