Rear Suspension Setting Chart –
Tiger XC
X
only
The solo suspension settings provide a
comfortable ride and good handling
characteristics for general, solo riding.
The charts above show suggested
settings for the rear suspension.
An increase in spring preload requires
firmer damping, a reduction in spring
preload requires softer damping.
The damping must be adjusted to the
road conditions and the spring preload.
Note:
•
The Tiger XR
X
and Tiger XC
X
are
delivered from the factory with the
rear suspension set at the Solo
(normal) riding settings, as shown in
the relevant suspension chart (see
page
135
).
•
These charts are only a guide.
Setting requirements may vary for
rider weight and personal
preferences. See the following pages
for information regarding rear
suspension adjustment.

Warning

between front and rear suspension is
maintained. Suspension imbalance
could significantly change handling
characteristics leading to loss of
control and an accident. Refer to the
front and rear suspension setting
charts for further information or
consult your dealer.
