(4) Remarks on DP main PWB replacement

When replacing the DP main PWB, remove the EEPROM (YS1) from the DP main PWB that has been 
removed and then reattach it to the new DP main PWB.

Figure 1-5-11 

When the DP main PWB is replaced with a new one, carry out the following procedure.

1. Clean the contact glass.
2. Perform maintenance mode U411 (Adjusting the scanner automatically) (see page 1-3-36).
3. Perform maintenance mode U091 (setting the white line correction).
4. Make a test copy of a gray document.

If problems such as white lines appear on the test copy, repeat the procedure from steps 1 and 2 
onwards until the white lines no longer appear.
