1-4 Troubleshooting

1-4-1 Paper mis feed detection

(1) Paper mis feed indication

When a paper misfeed occurs, the machine immediately stops printing and displays the paper misfeed mes-
sage on the operation panel.

To remove original jammed in the optional DP, open the document processor top cover.

Paper misfeed detection can be reset by opening and closing the respective covers to turn safety switch off and on.

The positions and the corrective actions are displayed on the touch panel when a paper jam has occurred.
