5.  Insert the Locking Knob (14) into the Dust Collar Threaded Hole and tighten to fasten the

Dust Extraction Collar (Fig. II)

Note

: The installation of the collar must be completed without an accessory installed on the

multi-tool (see ‘Fitting a blade or scraper’ or ‘Fitting the sanding pad & sanding sheets’).

Note

: The Dust Extraction Port is designed to fit a standard 32mm diameter hose. When

working in confined spaces, the Dust Extraction Port can be removed.

Fitting or removing the Dust Extraction Port

•  Once the Dust Extraction Collar (2) is fitted to the multi-tool, the Dust Extraction Port (3) can

be easily removed or installed

•  To remove, pull the Dust Extraction Port away from the Dust Extraction Collar
•  To install, push the push the Dust Extraction Port onto the Dust Extraction Collar, ensuring

the hole is facing up

Fitting a vacuum hose

Note

: The vacuum and hose is not supplied.

1.  Push a compatible size vacuum or dust extraction system hose onto the Dust Extraction

Port (3)

2.  If working in a confined space with no room for dust extraction, the Dust Extraction Port can

be removed while still attached to the hose, and will be ready for quick reattachment

Fitting a blade or scraper

1.  Lift the Keyless Change Lever (4) and push forward (Fig. III) then loosen the Flange (12) by

rotating the lever anti-clockwise (Fig. IV). Rotating the Keyless Change Lever in a clockwise
direction will tighten the flange (Fig. IV)

Notes:

•  If the accessory is open ended, the Flange can be loosened partially to fit the accessory

(Fig. V)

•  If the accessory has a closed end, the Flange will need to be loosened and removed from

the multi-tool to fit the accessory (Fig. V) before re-inserting the Flange. A small amount of
finger pressure on the Flange is necessary when first tightening

•  Always ensure the blade is the correctly installed with the curve facing down away from the

multi-tool (Fig. VI)

2.  Align the accessory holes with the buttons on the Flange (Fig. VII no. 1&2), hold the

accessory on the head (Fig. VIII), ensuring the buttons are aligned, and rotate the Keyless
Change Lever clockwise to tighten the Flange (Fig. IV)

Note:

The blade/accessory can be aligned with the buttons at the desired angle before

tightening the flange (Fig. VII no. 3).

3.  Close the lever down to the lock position on the multi-tool (Fig. IX)

IMPORTANT:

Ensure the locking tabs are facing the correct way when locking the lever. If

after tightening the flange the tabs are facing the wrong way (Fig. X), move the lever to the
middle position, then rotate the lever vertically until the tabs are facing the locking slots on
the multi-tool (Fig. X).

4.  To remove the blade/accessory, repeat steps 1–3 and remove the blade or scraper during

step 2 (Fig. VII no. 1)
